This 8 hour class meets the state of Nebraska’s training requirements to apply for a concealed handgun permit. You will receive instruction on the concealed handgun permit application process, the state statutes pertaining to the carrying of a concealed handgun, basic firearms safety and marksmanship, and concealed carry methods.
Items required -
- Eye Protection (if you wear glasses, those are sufficient)
- Hearing Protection (over the ear or the squishy earplugs)
- Firearm and 30 rounds of ammunition (the qual course is 30 rounds)
- Outside the waistband holster, with sturdy belt to attach
- Closed toed shoes for the range time
If you are bringing your firearm to the classroom portion, ensure the firearm is UNLOADED, cased/bagged, and checked in with the instructor IMMEDIATELY upon arrival.
DO NOT bring ammunition in to the classroom portion. Please leave ammunition in your vehicle.
